J-Painter is an online image editor that allows to create images within a browser and save them to your server. This package includes the editor itself, the developer's guide, and examples in PHP, ASP, Perl, and JSP.The developer's guide can be found here '

Examples

The examples show how to save images to your server, and/or send them by e-mail. The downloaded package is ready for use on localhost.
To use the editor on a real website (or an Intranet host) get free evaluation license here www.izhuk.com/painter/download.php.

If you have a local web server installed on your desktop you can run the examples now. For that open this page through your local web server and click one of the following links.

PHP
Example 1 Allows to save the image at the server and send it by e-mail. Requires PHP file upload support.
Example 2 Allows to save the image at the server and send it by e-mail. No special requirements but PHP support only.
Example 3 Allows to combine image with other HTML form data and send them to the server by a single request.
This does not work on old Mac browsers!
ASP.NET
Example 1 Allows to save an image at the server and send it by e-mail.
Example 2 Allows to save the image and text at the server by one request.
This does not work on old Mac browsers!
ASP
Example 1 Allows to save an image at the server and send it by e-mail.
Server side CDONTS object is used for sending image by e-mail.
Example 2 Allows to combine image with other HTML form data and send them to the server by a single request.
The resulting image and text data are saved at the server
This does not work on old Mac browsers!
JSP
Example 1 Allows to save image at the server.
Before running the example copy Base64.class from the example's directory
to the directory WEB-INF/classes/com/izhuk/util of your web application.
Example 2 Allows to save image and text notes at the server.

Perl
ExampleAllows to save the image at the server. No special requirements but Perl support only.

If some of the examples are not interesting for you, you can remove their directories harmlessly, because each example is self-contained and is not related with the others.

Product's terms of use.

J-Painter is a shareware and licensed on a per domain name basis. This means that the license is related with a particular domain name where the editor is going to be used. You can get the free evaluation license online for evaluation purposes or purchase a permanent license. The information about available licenses and their prices can be found at the product's purchase page.
Note that this package includes the free license for  localhost so you can use the editor at a local web server immediately.

J-Painter, any related documentation, and examples are provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, the implied warranties or merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement.
